2. Copyright & Access Policy
Our journal follows a diamond open-access model, providing free access to all content without subscription fees or article processing charges for readers. All articles are published under a Creative Commons license, allowing for free reuse and redistribution.

3. Scope of the Journal
Our journal invites scholarly contributions from a broad range of disciplinary perspectives, focusing on bilingualism, bi/multi-literacy, and linguistic democracy. We encourage submissions from linguistics, literature, science, arts, commerce and culture.

4. Subject Area
The journal covers a wide range of subject areas, including:Language, LLLLLiterature and Culture.
These subject areas are not exhaustive, but they give an idea of the diverse range of topics that research journals in literature might cover.

5. Publishing Schedule
Our journal is published annually in February.

Revenue Sources The main source offunding is the annual financial assistance provided by the department of collegiate education, therefore, no fees are charged from authors to publish papers in this journal. Limited funds are also raised from the sale of copies of the journal.

6. Guidelines for Peer Reviewers
1. Reviewers must provide objective, unbiased, and constructive feedback focused on improving the research.
2. Confidentiality of manuscript content and author identity must be maintained.
3. Conflicts of interest, if any, must be disclosed
4. Review reports should be clear, unbiased, substantiated, and professional without personal criticism.
5. Use of AI tools for generating review reports is prohibited.
6. Reviewers should have relevant expertise and adequate time to complete the review responsibly.

7. Ethical Guidelines for Authors
1. Authors must ensure originality and proper citation of all sources
2. Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are unacceptable.
3. All listed authors should have made significant contributions and share accountability and that the contribution of each author for the preparation of the paper should be separately mentioned.
4. Data must be reported accurately and with transparency.
5. Authors should avoid duplicate publication and ensure ethical research conduct.
6. Any conflicts of interest must be declared honestly.

8. Instructions to Authors
1. Manuscripts should include a clear title, author names with affiliations, and a concise abstract without citations.
2. Up to seven keywords should be provided to reflect the paper’s subject.
3. Manuscript format: standard fonts preferably Times New Roman for English language, and Unicode fonts for other Indian languages single-spaced, with continuous page numbers.
4. Avoid non-standard abbreviations and footnotes. Use appropriate reference formatting.
5. Language should be clear and simple. Professional editing is recommended before submission.
6. Authors are responsible for formatting figures, tables, and text according to journal guidelines.

9. AI generated content policy
1. AI tools may be used only for language editing, data analysis assistance, figure visualization and reference management.
2. AI-generated text or ideas presented as original research without human oversight are prohibited.
3. Authors must declare any use of AI tools in the manuscript, and AI cannot be credited as an author.
4. Use of AI must not compromise the integrity, originality, and ethical standards of the work.
5. Misrepresentation of AI-generated data or plagiarism via AI use is strictly forbidden.

ISSN 2454-292X: This ISSN is a globally recognized code that uniquely identifies our journal in academic databases, library catalogues, and indexing systems. It affirms our commitment to scholarly publishing standards and facilitates the discoverability and citation of articles published in our journal. We encourage contributors and readers to cite this ISSN when referencing articles from Malayalapachcha in their own scholarly work.

11. The Panel of Experts (Review and Referee)
The quality and integrity of Malayalapachcha is upheld by an international panel of experts drawn from diverse academic disciplines. The panel consists of established scholars and practitioners recognized for their contributions to research in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and interdisciplinary fields.
 Peer Review Model: The journal follows a double-blind peer review process, ensuring anonymity of both authors and reviewers to maintain fairness and impartiality.
 Selection of Reviewers: Referees are chosen based on subject expertise, academic reputation, and absence of conflicts of interest.
 Responsibilities of Reviewers: Panel members are expected to provide constructive, timely, and rigorous evaluations that assess originality, methodological soundness, relevance, and ethical compliance.
 Editorial Oversight: The Editorial Board, in consultation with the reviewers, makes the final decision on acceptance, revision, or rejection of manuscripts.

All articles published in Malayalapachcha are protected under international copyright law. Authors retain full copyright of their work upon publication.  Authors affirm that their submission is original, free from plagiarism, and not under review elsewhere.
 Permissions for use of third-party materials (figures, tables, images, or long textual extracts) must be secured prior to submission.
 The journal reserves the right to retract or remove content that infringes copyright or violates academic integrity.
